We wanted to invite our family and a few friends from my mom's group so Ellie would have some kids her age to play with. When it was all said and done, it ended up being about 40 people. Much bigger than I was originally thinking, but hey, the girl is well loved. This means we needed a large space, tables, chairs and lots of food. My grandma generously offered her backyard and I got into serious party planning mode. Thus Ellie's yellow and pink birthday party was born.
It was a lot of work and thankfully my family went above and beyond to help make it happen. This pregnant woman would be sunk without them! We had a really great time and it all came together beautifully. Most importantly Ellie had a blast. Thank you to everyone who came and showered her with love. She is a lucky girl!
