Halfway!

Just a quick post to celebrate that we've crossed the halfway mark! I am 20 weeks this week which marks the halfway point in pregnancy (give or take).   As my dad would say, things are chugging right a long!  Baby J is getting bigger by the day and I am feeling more and more pregnant.  I have the energy of a sloth which I can only contribute to a growth spurt that I assume the baby is going through. We have started assembling the nursery which really just consists of a glider chair, an un-assembled crib and a bunch of junk we don't know what to do with.  Luckily the Parrish grandparents are coming to visit at the end of this month to help us hunt and gather all the things we need. I have more or less decided on the color scheme for the room and I am very excited that Tom's sister Camille is in the process of making us a homemade baby quilt.  These are the kinds of things that make me squeal with delight.

I can't believe that my pregnancy is already half-way over.  It has gone by so fast and has thankfully been uneventful. I think I have started to feel the baby move, but it could also be my incredibly active digestive system. I'm sure as the baby gets bigger it will become more obvious which is which.  If feels like things are coming together and we are getting really excited for the baby to finally be here. Here is to another 20 quick weeks!
